  • Alex Trautwig

    President, Founding Steering Committee Member

    Alex Trautwig is the Director of Photography at Fanatics, based in New York. After graduating from Boston College he started his career as an intern with the New York Mets and worked as a freelance photographer and photo editor in Boston and New York, eventually joining Getty Images as a Senior Field Photo Editor. He left Getty to serve as a Staff Photographer at Major League Baseball and spent six years with the league before returning to Getty as a Manager, Sports Operations in 2021.

  • Ashley Landis

    Secretary, Founding Steering Committee Member

    Ashley Landis grew up in Plano, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism from the University of North Texas in 2005. She started her photojournalism career as a staff photographer and reporter at the San Marcos Daily Record in San Marcos, Texas in 2006. She was a freelance photographer in central Texas from 2010 until 2014, when she joined the award-winning photo staff of The Dallas Morning News. The Associated Press hired her as a staff photographer based in Los Angeles in April of 2020.

  • Quinn Harris

    Treasurer, Founding Steering Committee Member

    Quinn Harris is a freelance sports photographer based in the Chicagoland area. A proud alumnus of Iowa State University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he has been capturing professional and collegiate sports for over a decade, working with a diverse range of clients. From the crack of the bat at Wrigley Field to the roars of the crowd at Soldier Field, Quinn has been there, camera in hand, documenting the rich tapestry of Chicago’s athletic heritage. Off the field, Quinn indulges in programming projects and engages in vibrant sports debates with fellow enthusiasts. With every shot, he strives to encapsulate the raw energy, passion, and narrative that define the heart and soul of sports.

  • Matt Dirksen

    Founding Steering Committee Member

    Matt Dirksen is a sports, commercial, and editorial photographer based out of Chicago. His love for baseball and photography began with his first pack of trading cards at age 5. He has since graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and is now entering his 11th season working in Major League Baseball.

  • Emilee Chinn

    Founding Steering Committee Member

    Emilee Chinn is the team photographer for the Cincinnati Reds, as well as a freelance photographer and photo editor based in Cincinnati, Ohio with a focus on professional and college athletics. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Photojournalism and spent time as a full-time freelancer prior to her time with the Reds.

  • Karen Warren

    Steering Committee Member

    Karen Warren is a senior staff photographer with the Houston Chronicle. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, she started her career at the Austin American-Statesman, where she was able to join a team of photographers from the Cox newspaper chain to photograph the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. She worked for a year at the St. Louis Post Dispatch, before Texas’ siren call drew her to Houston in 1997.

     Early on, she began shooting the Houston Astros, covering most of the ensuing spring trainings, as well as the regular and post season games, including five trips to the World Series.

  • Kevin D. Liles

    Steering Committee Member

    Kevin D. Liles is an independent sports, commercial and editorial photographer based in Atlanta. He has served as the team photographer for the Atlanta Braves since 2018. From 2001-2007, Kevin worked with smalltown newspapers, both as a reporter and photographer. While finishing his undergraduate degree in media studies from 2007-2011, Kevin worked as an assistant and lighting technician for Sports Illustrated. He embarked on his full-time freelance career in 2012, working with a wide range of commercial and editorial clients.

  • Carrie Giordano

    Steering Committee Member

    Carrie Giordano is a team photographer for the Los Angeles Dodgers and LA Rams. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Carrie’s love for baseball began in her youth, playing softball and assisting her parents with their baseball card business. Carrie’s fascination with photography emerged at a young age, leading her to pursue formal education in photojournalism at Santa Monica College. Her academic background paved the way for a diverse career in editorial, commercial, and sports photography. Beyond the sports arena, Carrie is also passionate about landscape photography and traveling with her husband and three children.
